Last month, Infinix released the Infinix Note 11 and Infinix Note 11S smartphones in India. The MediaTek chipset is used in both of these devices. These phones come with a 5,000mAh battery and support for 33W rapid charging. Infinix has begun seeding a new software upgrade to the Infinix Note 11 series in recent development.
The Extended RAM function has been included in the newest OTA software update for the Infinix Note 11 series, which provides a temporary performance increase. The latest software upgrade offers up to 3GB of more RAM to the Note 11S, according to Infinix.
Users will receive 1GB extra RAM after running the new software update on their Infinix Note 11 4GB/6GB RAM variant. Users will be able to run multiple apps at the same time and switch between them swiftly and without lag thanks to the Extended RAM feature. As previously stated, the Infinix Note 11S 8GB RAM edition will receive an additional 3GB RAM support. When the RAM on the phone is insufficient to ensure seamless functioning, this new functionality uses the phone’s ROM.
According to Infinix, the Extended RAM functionality will be enabled when customers run multiple programs on their devices at the same time. Furthermore, the Extended RAM option will not significantly reduce battery life.
Users of the Infinix Note 11s will be able to run up to 20 apps simultaneously with this new feature, compared to the 9 apps that could be launched previously without it. With the new software update, the starting speed of apps rose by up to 60%, and games loaded substantially faster, according to the business.
