That’s correct! Many people are aware of the anti-locking braking system’s safety features (ABS). ABS works by preventing wheels from locking up in panic-inducing situations. It was, after all, a life-saving function reserved for higher-end motorcycles. Things are, however, changing for the better.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 (ABS) may not receive a big cosmetic update or engine upgrades. It’s still the same bike that so many people adore… The onboard single-channel ABS and FI engine are the key differences. It also features a liquid-cooled engine with triple spark ignition. It also has a steel perimeter frame and box-section swingarm, as well as a distinctive underbelly exhaust.
Design of Pulsar NS 200
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has an aggressive, sporty, and macho look. The fit and finish, as well as the overall build quality, appear to be satisfactory. The instrument cluster is hidden under a tiny visor on the front end. The fuel tank is strong, with enough knee recesses for a secure hold, while the tail section is cutting and sharp.
The perimeter frame is the design’s biggest feature, and it’s also a first for a Bajaj bike. It’s also available in four new color combinations: Burnet Red, Satin Blue, Metallic Pearl White, and Pewter Grey.
The motorcycle barely weighs 152 kg, making it even more responsive at low speeds. It also has a 167mm ground clearance and an 805mm seat height.
The Pulsar NS 200 is a high-performance motorcycle with a focus on fuel economy. It has a 12-liter gasoline tank and can easily achieve a mileage of 35 kilometers per gallon.
A 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine develops 24.5 PS at 9750rpm and 18.3 Nm torque at 8000rpm, powering the NS 200. It does, however, come with a standard BS4-compliant motor.
The DTS-I engine is equipped with triple spark plugs and a six-speed transmission. In addition, the regular variant comes with a carburetor fuel supply, while the FI variant comes with the latest Fuel injection.
Suspensions and Brakes
The front forks of the Pulsar 200 NS have a large hydraulic 130mm telescopic travel. A Nitrox mono shock absorber with a Canister at the back is also included.
A 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc are used in the braking system. When it comes to further safety features, the bike has single-channel ABS.
