Motorola surprised us with a half-dozen new smartphones in November, including the Moto G71 5G, which was quickly speculated to be headed to India at a later date, alongside the G51 5G and the G31.
While the latter two devices are currently available in India, the G71 5G has been unavailable so far. But fear not: today, a well-known informant supposedly revealed the Moto G71 5G’s Indian launch date, which is January 10.
If this happens, India will get another of Moto’s latest mid-rangers on Monday, and it will be the country’s first phone to be powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, which is a fairly rare bird so far no matter where you are on the planet.
According to the aforementioned source, the Indian model G71 will support 13 5G bands. The phone features a 6.4-inch 1080×2400 AMOLED display (with a low refresh rate), 6/8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a triple back camera (50 MP main, 8 MP ultrawide, 2 MP macro), a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and a 5,000-mAh battery with 30W rapid charging.
